The Balwadi is a pre-primary center for the children of the village. In addition to enrolling the children in the education system early, they also serve as a day-care center, thereby allowing the parents to go to work without exposing the children to that environment. There are more than 2500 children currently enrolled in the Balwadis that are run by the various religious organizations within the Archdiocese of Gandhinagar.

The Archdiocese of Gandhinagar and the supporting religious communities and organizations together provide hostel and boarding facilities for more than 2500 young boys and girls in the pursuit of primary, secondary, and higher secondary education in the schools adjoining the boarding hostels. This provides a safe environment for the children to learn and grow.
